IPA Releases 2025 Annual Report Highlighting Advocacy, Growth, and Industry Leadership

The Innovative Payments Association (IPA) has released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of advocacy, industry engagement, and thought leadership on the issues shaping the future of payments.

Throughout 2025, the IPA worked with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advance responsible innovation while supporting a regulatory framework that protects consumers and promotes financial inclusion. The report details the association's efforts on key issues including earned wage access (EWA), prepaid accounts, bank-fintech partnerships, open banking, fraud prevention, and the continued expansion of electronic payments.

The report also reflects on a milestone year as the IPA celebrated 20 years of leadership in the payments industry. IPA Releases 2024 Annual Report Highlighting Advocacy, Industry Leadership, and Regulatory Engagement

The Innovative Payments Association (IPA) has released its 2024 Annual Report, reflecting on a year marked by significant regulatory activity, policy developments, and continued innovation across the payments industry.

Throughout 2024, the IPA worked on behalf of its members to advance a stable, pro-innovation regulatory environment while addressing some of the industry's most pressing issues. The report highlights advocacy efforts related to earned wage access (EWA), open banking, interchange fees, bank-fintech partnerships, artificial intelligence, overdraft and NSF fees, and evolving federal and state regulatory priorities.

The Innovative Payments Association (IPA) has released its 2023 Annual Report, showcasing a year of advocacy, industry collaboration, and continued support for innovation across the payments ecosystem.

Throughout 2023, the IPA worked to advance policies that promote financial inclusion, consumer choice, and responsible innovation. The report highlights the association's engagement on key issues including earned wage access (EWA), open banking, interchange fees, gift card legislation, and emerging regulatory developments affecting banks, fintechs, and payment providers.

The report also reviews the IPA's efforts to combat fraud, provide industry education, and amplify the voice of the payments sector through media outreach, regulatory engagement, and member-driven advocacy.
