NOW AVAILABLE IN STREAMING VIDEO!
Software as a Service, or SaaS, represents a shift in how many organizations use software. Companies like Salesforce, Amazon and Microsoft all provide SaaS products that ease IT woes while making their customers more productive. These products run not on your company’s hardware, but rather in a “cloud” of managed servers accessible via the Internet.
Recognizing the power of SaaS and cloud computing, Adobe has created the Acrobat.com service to add functionality to its Creative Suite and to create new opportunities for collaboration.
The Acrobat.com service consists of several components that allow customers to securely share files, collaboratively word process, create spreadsheets, and even share their desktops and webcams. In addition, acrobat.com provides the backbone for a number of collaborative and data collection services accessible through Adobe Acrobat 9 and Creative Suite 4.
In this introductory but in-depth seminar you'll learn the basics of SaaS and why many authorities contend that “Cloud Computing” is the future of computing for most applications. Then, we'll see how to use Acrobat.com to create documents and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
