Preflighting – The Ultimate Island of Automation: About the Presenter

James Lockman is an Adobe Certified Creative Suite Master and Enfocus Certified trainer. He is the owner of Working Words & Graphics, a PDF workflow consulting and implementation company, graphic design shop and digital prepress services bureau. He and his wife also own CommuniPix, a company that helps children with Autism communicate more easily.

James holds a degree in physics and applied physics from Yale University. He joined Working Words in 1994 to head its Digital Prepress division and has become a technical resource for printers and graphic designers nationwide. His long practical experience with PostScript and PDF workflows coupled with his teaching skills make a great fit for training technical subjects. He is also an Enfocus Certified Trainer and has been using PDF in his own print workflow since joining Working Words in 1995.
