With the advent of PDF/X1-a, clients believe that all of their PDF problems have been solved. In truth, clients often don’t understand the many options presented to them when creating a PDF file. Also, prepress professionals often don’t have or understand the tools at their disposal to identify and correct common errors in PDF files. Several software solutions have made it possible to go into the PDF files and fix the many problems that do exist.
