Prestia Color Consulting and its founder, Lou Prestia have provided training to graphic arts professionals for nearly twenty years. Prestia started the firm in 2001. His career in color reprographic technology began at the National Geographic Society and carried through the first version of Photoshop into a career at Adobe Systems, where his roles included technical marketing manager for prepress, manager of the prepress graphics lab, and color technology evangelist. He has developed color technology training programs for corporations and end users, and has trained hundreds of production, engineering, marketing, and sales personnel throughout the world. Prestia develops curricula on a variety of graphic arts topics and is both a subject matter expert and content coordinator for several current programs from the International Prepress Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management and Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
