TOOLS FOR CHECKING INK COVERAGE
There are a number of tools available for checking ink coverage of a file. Some proofing and RIP softwares have feature that will allow you to see the ink coverage for each channel as well as a total. There are several stand alone tools that will give this information and more; a few of these tools are listed below. A FREE utility which compares the ink coverage between two CMYK images (TIFF or JPEG). PressPerCent is an ink key pre-setting solution for offset presses. It has the ability to calculate ink coverage percentages and press ink key zone values. Download v2.8.
