    Boise Cascade Holdings Third Quarter 2011 Earnings Up 37%

    Boise Cascade Holdings, L.L.C. (BC Holdings or Company) announced a $3.7 million net loss for the quarter ended September 30, 2011. Third quarter 2011 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) were $10.6 million, up $2.9 million, or 37%, compared to reported EBITDA of $7.7 million in third quarter 2010. Third quarter 2010 results included $4.6 million of income related to the settlement of class action litigation. The Company reported EBITDA of $3.9 million in second quarter 2011.  read more »

    Guangming Daily to Install Goss Universal Press System

    Beijing based newspaper publisher Guangming Daily has ordered a new Goss Universal press to increase color capacity and to pursue more sub-contract printing in the Chinese market. The new single-width, double-circumference (2x2) press will be mainly used to print the 150,000 copies a day of the Guangming Daily and 250,000 copies a day of the tabloid Xin Jin Bao.  read more »
