Every graphic production person has images that are usually less (and very often, far less) than perfect. As a Photoshop user, whether amateur or professional, you are faced with the task of altering and/or improving these images for some type of publishing project.
This 3-part IPA webinar series uses REAL WORLD image examples to demonstrate the fast and efficient techniques needed to correct and enhance your everyday graphic images. Based upon two decades of production experience from our IPA Graphic Applications Expert, Taz Tally, this hands-on, jam packed IPA webinar series will take your production staff members through a complete course in image improvements from basic through complex corrections and adjustments.
These three sessions are packed with information, tips and techniques for all skill levels. including adjusting: image dimension and resolution problems, poor cropping, incorrectly exposed photos of low brightness and contrast characteristics and backlit subjects, incorrect highlight and shadows points, unwanted color casts, composition challenges that require that you remove or add image elements, damaged images in need of repair, working with high dynamic range images, and techniques for properly converting images from color to B/W and grayscale to duotone modes, and the many production and creative uses of sharpening.
Lastly, we'll be sure to address proper image preparation for preparing images for a variety of outputs including commercial printing, the Web and a desktop inkjet.
