Purchase Webinar on CD
Member price: $110.00
Non-member price: $155.00
Photoshop CS3’s new palette arrangement to use space for efficiently (also shown in the other Suite applications). He’ll cover how to use the revolutionary Quick Selection tool to make selections interactively, and then refine the edge of a selection with the Refine Edge feature. Vanishing Point is enhanced so you can now add planes other than 90° and edit in perspective on more than one plane.

Photoshop CS3 also includes Smart Filters—standard Photoshop filters, but applied non-destructively. You can now easily layer and combine multiple images of the same scene and choose the “best” image using automatic layer alignment and blending. When cloning, you can now use the new Clone Source palette which lets you choose more than one source, and allows you to preview while doing cloning. The new Black and White Adjustment easily controls color conversion with a simpler and faster interface. The Curves tool has been revamped and has many new enhancements, including the ability to save presets.

We’ll also cover the new Creative Suite Design Premium edition that includes new features sets in the new Photoshop Extended CS3 and Bridge CS3.

These and many more issues will be discussed including:

Upgrade to the Adobe Camera Raw workflow which now works with both JPEG and TIFF files.

Using Adobe Bridge CS3...

  • filter a group of images with a new Filter panel
  • organize files into stacks and interact with those stacks to batch process images
  • there are more extensive previewing capabilities, such as a Loupe tool and the ability to preview multiple images simultaneously.

In Photoshop CS3 Extended, learn to...

  • open and adjust 3D models in common formats, and composite them with 2D content
  • new measurement and analysis features which can be of use to print service providers
  • use the enhanced Print dialog box.
