Carin serves at program chair and manages the curriculum of the GT program. She is also an instructor teaching graphic design, desktop publishing applications, and digital prepress.  Although she only teaches Color Management on a very basic level to students, the added knowledge from the CMP program will assist her in answering some of the more technical questions that students ask. She wishes to share the knowledge with students and instructors at the college. Carin hopes that her expertise will help establish not only color managed labs, but help students and fellow instructors understand the importance of color management. Additionally, she is currently pursing the premedia certification, which will hopefully qualify her to conduct some industry training in the near future.

Des Moines Area Community College is the largest community college in  Iowa with six campuses located in central Iowa.
